Connected Parent Training
A 6-hour training based on the skills and strategies of TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention)
Saturday, November 22nd (9 a.m.- 3 p.m.)
Join us on Saturday, November 22nd at 9:00 a.m. for a Connected Parent Training- facilitated by Sarah McCrory, LPC-S, RPT!
The cost (which includes lunch and materials) is $195/couple or $175/individual.
This 6-hour intensive training is based on the skills and strategies of TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) presented in the books The Connected Child and The Connected Parent written by Dr. Karyn Purvis. We will focus on the three main pillars of TBRI: Connect, Empower, & Correct. Both couples and individuals are welcome to attend.
TBRI is a holistic, attachment-based, trauma-informed intervention that is designed to meet the complex needs of vulnerable children. While TBRI was created for vulnerable children, I applied the principles in my own “typically developing” family and feel like the concepts of TBRI work for everyone! TBRI uses Empowering Principles to address physical needs, Connecting Principles to address attachment needs, and Correcting Principles to disarm fear-based behaviors. This is not the full TBRI parent training, but a distilled version that we believe can make a real difference in your parenting journey.
The final location of the training is TBD based on how many register, but for now, we’ll plan to meet at the Sanctuary Counseling office at 239 Whitetail Trail, Hope Hull, AL, 36043. You can get more details on how to find us HERE.
Please register below if you’d like to join us, and if you have any questions, shoot us an email HERE.
We hope you’ll join us!
